Humanitarian Settlement Program
The Humanitarian Settlement Program is a nationwide program funded by the Department of Home Affairs dedicated to supporting newly arrived refugees and humanitarian entrants during their initial settlement in Australia.
AMES Australia has been a leading provider of Settlement Programs since 2005, and currently delivers the Humanitarian Settlement Program in Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.

Between October 2005 and June 2017, AMES Australia assisted over 50,000 newly arrived refugees and humanitarian entrants with their settlement journey throughout Victoria:
- 19,000+ under Integrated Humanitarian Settlement Strategy (IHSS) between October 2005 and March 2011; and
- 21,000+ clients Humanitarian Entrants assisted through Humanitarian Settlement Services (HSS) from April 2011 until June 2017.
- Since July 2017, through the current Humanitarian Settlement Program (HSP), AMES Australia has supported over 46,000 refugees and humanitarian entrants.

From October 2017, AMES Australia (alongside consortium partners and sub-contractors) began delivering the Humanitarian Settlement Program (HSP) in Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.
