CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care

  • This course will prepare you for an Early childhood educator job in the Early Childhood Education and Care industry.
  • You will be required to study 15 core units and 2 electives.
  • AMES Australia organises a work placement of 160 hours for each student at a regulated childcare service.
  • All students are supervised during their placement.
  • All AMES Australia industry certificate courses provide specialist English language support for refugees and migrants.

How will I learn?

The course will be offered in blended learning model

  • Classroom-based Learning (Face to face), where you attend AMES' campus with a Teacher/Trainer present
  • Online Learning, where you study remotely off campus via MS Teams, using training materials that are provided online or correspondence by the Teacher/Trainer
  • Practical placement where you become familiarised and obtain hands on experience through structured on-the-job practical placement arrangements in the workplace.

    Under SEE Program, in addition to all the units in this qualification, you will be provided with 2 additional LLN Units to improve your oral communication, reading, and writing skills for success in VET courses.

Eligibility

To be eligible to study this course under government funding, the following requirements will apply

Course duration

Over 9 months including 160 hours of practical placement.

An intermediate level of English is required, however your English level will be assessed on application.

Individuals who are eligible to participate in the Asylum Seeker VET Program.

Cost

This training is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding. Please refer to the schedule of fees for more information here or contact AMES Australia to check your eligibility for a concession fee.

There may be extra charges for learning materials, first aid certificate, police check & etc. 

A fee concession to a student enrolled under the Asylum Seeker VET Program can then be granted in accordance with the Guidelines about Fees.
